A 1000 species garden

Sample questions
  • Do you like to go on a garden safari?
  • Are you curious about what lives, flutters, flies, crawls, digs or swims in your garden?
  • Are you more of a night owl interested in which bats and moths visit your garden?
  • Do you see tracks in your garden and would like to know who they belong to?
Our approach
Create your own garden inventory. It is not difficult and very fascinating. Once you know where to look, you will find more and more. You can do it for all species or just for certain groups of animals. It is great fun to see who lives in your garden. Once you get the hang of it, there is no turning back! A healthy addiction to greenery and the outdoors.

Tip: This is also a fun activity with children who learn to discover nature this way. It can even be done during a party. We can even design a nice gift voucher for you.

What we offer you
  • Creation of your profile on observations.be with marking of your garden or terrain
  • Explanation and demonstration of obsidentify and other useful apps for species identification
  • Mini-bioblitz = 3-hour search for as many species as possible. We start your species list together in spring or summer (in dry weather), which you can then continue afterwards.
  • Extra option: installation of moth trap (1 night) and camera trap (1 week)
